The Hornets kicked off the 2025 season at home Friday night, taking on the
Englewood Rams in a preseason Kickoff Classic. The hosts weren’t so gracious,
however. The Yulee High School football walloped its guests 54-0.
Yulee heads to Union County Friday night for the regular season opener. Kickoff is at
7:30 p.m. The Hornets are back home Aug. 29 for a showdown with Clay at 7 p.m.
They’re at home again Sept. 5 with Charlton County, with a 7:30 p.m. start.
Yulee went 2-8 last season, but two of their losses were by a mere point and another
by three.
