A week-long traffic enforcement campaign on State Road 200 resulted in 301 traffic stops and six arrests, according to the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office.
The effort targeted dangerous driving behaviors including speeding, seat belt violations, move-over violations and following too closely, among other traffic safety concerns leading up to and during the Memorial Day holiday weekend, according to a sheriff’s office social media post.
Despite the campaign’s conclusion, enforcement will continue on S.R. 200, the post said.
