Westerly Park, the newest phase of the Wildlight community, is on schedule to open by summer 2026. Model homes and floor plans will soon be available to potential buyers.
“The project is progressing smoothly and on schedule. We have an excellent working relationship with the county and have not encountered any issues that would change our original development plans for Westerly Park,” said Brean Thompson, Wildlight’s marketing manager.
Construction began in fall 2024, and two developers are building homes in the new phase. Pulte Homes is expected to release floor plans for single-family homes within the next month, while David Weekley Homes is expected to release theirs this fall, according to Thompson. Pulte plans to open sales in September, with David Weekley following shortly after.
A key feature of the development will be Suncatch Park, which Thompson said will be open to all Wildlight homeowners and is expected to be ready by summer 2026. Planned amenities include a recreation center, an open-air pavilion, a family-sized pool adjoining a six-lane lap pool, and a playground.
Westerly Park will also feature pickleball, basketball and volleyball courts, as well as ponds for paddleboarding, kayaking and fishing, according to the David Weekley website.
Shops and restaurants are also in the works. Wildlight is in the planning and negotiation phase to bring a mix of businesses to Westerly Park, Thompson said.
“Our focus is on carefully curating the right partners who will complement the community and offer a unique experience,” Thompson said.
Thompson added that Wildlight will soon officially announce another new phase of development, called the Garden District.
