The Friends of American Beach Healthy Heart Committee will host two community health events in February and March, marking the fourth consecutive year for the initiative.
The Healthy Fun Walk will take place Saturday, Feb. 7, starting and ending at Franklintown Community Church, 1416 Lewis Street in Historic American Beach. Registration opens at 8:30 a.m.; the walk begins at 10 a.m. and concludes at noon. Registration is $20 and includes a walk memento. All ages are welcome.

Walker’s Landing on the grounds of the Omni Resort will serve as the site for the Healthy Heart Luncheon on March 22 from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Additional details will be announced.
The committee anticipates participation from Amelia Island neighbors in both events.
