Annual Turkey Trot 5K at Omni
The Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa is once again hosting its annual Thanksgiving Day tradition, the Turkey Trot 5K. It’s a time-chipped race through the property, and a portion of the proceeds benefits First Coast YMCA.
The race starts at 8 a.m. at Racquet Park.

The Dugout Club of Fernandina Beach is holding its annual poinsettia sale. Place an order by Nov. 21.
Standard red, white, pink and candy cane poinsettias are $17, hanging red poinsettias are $27, and ferns are $17. Pick up or delivery available Dec. 3.

Oyster roast for NSFA
The Nassau Sport Fishing Association is holding an oyster roast for its Nov. 19 member social and business gathering at the Kraft Athletic Club. The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m., with the meal following.
The club is providing the oysters, but everyone should bring a side dish to share.
