The Nassau County School District is observing November as National Scholarship Month, highlighting opportunities for students to secure financial aid for higher education.
The observance, sponsored by the National Scholarship Providers Association, aims to raise awareness of scholarship opportunities available to Nassau County students. Several scholarships with November and December deadlines are open to Nassau County students.
Upcoming deadlines include the Hagan Scholarship (Dec. 1), USF Kosove Society Scholarship (Dec. 5), Coolidge Scholarship for the Class of 2027 (Dec. 16) and the Cirkled in “No Sweat” Scholarship and Appily Scholarship (both Dec. 31).
UAspire of North Jacksonville will host a virtual session titled “Scholarship Basics & Tips” on Nov. 19 to help students navigate the application process.
Additional scholarship opportunities with spring deadlines include the American Legion General Scholarship and Eagle Scout of the Year awards (both March 1, 2026) and the Richard Keffer Jr. Scholarship (March 30, 2026).
The district’s scholarship and financial aid information page provides resources including scholarship databases such as Bold.org, the Taco Bell Foundation’s Live Más Scholarship for young people ages 16-26, and school-specific scholarship pages including Yulee High School’s scholarship resources.
“Contact your counselor to learn more about current opportunities and resources,” states a message from the school district at https://www.nassau.k12.fl.us/page/scholarship-and-financial-aid-information.
