The Pirates celebrated a win and their seniors on Friday, March 6. The Fernandina Beach High School lacrosse team beat the visiting Sandalwood Saints 13-3.
Ben Adams scored six goals, Hunter Burns scored four, Atlas Ott scored two, and Luke Beckstrom had one for the Pirates. Adams and Ott also had a pair of assists apiece.
Dominic Cortes had nine saves in goal.
It was the final home game of the season for FBHS. The Pirates headed to Matanzas March 10, and play at Beachside on Thursday, March 12. Both matches start at 7 p.m.
The team also honored its seniors on Friday, including Liam Hayden (No. 13), Kaidon Le (No. 21), Zachary Zadal (No. 26), Atlas Ott (No. 4), Ben Adams (No. 30), Jadon Williams (No. 39), Campbell Harris (No. 17), Dominic Cortes (No. 8), Luke Taylor (No. 35) and Caeden Campagne (No. 51).
