The Fernandina Beach High School lacrosse team hosted its season opener Feb. 9, when the Pirates took on the Bolles Bulldogs. The visitors prevailed.
Ben Adams scored a pair of goals for FBHS, and goalie Dominic Cortes recorded 10 saves. Both are seniors.
The Pirates host Episcopal at 6 p.m. today, Feb. 11, and head to Fleming Island Feb. 12 for a 7 p.m. match.
