Shady Ladies Art Studios and Gallery will host a special exhibition featuring the work of nationally known artist Renée Faure on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. The event marks Faure’s first showing on Amelia Island.
A third-generation artist based in Neptune Beach, Faure built her career in illustration while exhibiting in galleries in New York and Florida. Her current exhibit, titled Old and New, includes original pastels, giclées and posters, and will remain on display through Nov. 7.
The Shady Ladies Art Gallery is located at 819 South 8th St. in the Pelican Palms Plaza. The venue offers off-street parking and is fully accessible. The opening reception will feature live music by The Harmonix.
