The Pirate cross country teams will be competing at home Saturday evening, when they host the Coach Hope Memorial Invitational at the Fernandina Beach Golf Club on Bill Melton Road. The meet starts at 6 p.m.

The FBHS boys and girls cross country teams competed in the HOKA Nights of Thunder invitational Sept. 13-14 in Tallahassee. The team placed sixth out of 25 teams. The boys were 19th out of 30.
