Omni announces 10th annual Fish to Fork event

Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa announced the return of its signature culinary celebration, the 10th Annual Fish to Fork, taking place April 16-19, 2026, according to a release.

In honor of this milestone year, the newly renovated resort promises an unforgettable weekend of exceptional food, friendly competition and coastal charm, all set against sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean and the island’s tree canopies, the release said. The resort is also bringing back some of guests’ favorite chefs from the past nine events, adding a nostalgic element to the 10th anniversary festivities, according to the release.

“Fish to Fork has always been about creativity, community, and connection to Amelia Island,” Executive Chef Omar Collazo said, according to the release. “Next year marks ten years of bringing together incredible chefs and passionate food lovers, and we’re pulling out all the stops to make the 10th anniversary our most exciting and memorable celebration yet.”

Since its debut in 2014, Fish to Fork has become one of the Southeast’s most anticipated culinary events, offering an immersive dock-to-dish experience that brings together some of the nation’s most talented chefs, the release said.

The 2026 chef lineup includes Carlos Raba of Clavel in Baltimore, Maryland; Cesar Zapata of Phuc Yea in Miami; Joey Ward of Southern Belle and Georgia Boy in Atlanta; Kathleen Blake of Taste & Theory Division at Aimbridge Hospitality in Texas; Kevin Tien of Moon Rabbit in Washington, D.C.; Omar Collazo of Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa; Sam Jones of Hudson Local and Hudson Vu in New York City; and Shuai Wang of King BBQ and Jackrabbit Filly in Charleston, South Carolina, according to the release.

Throughout the weekend, guests will enjoy a variety of interactive experiences and culinary showcases, the release said. The weekend kicks off with a Chef’s Welcome Dinner on Thursday, April 16, where chefs will randomly select their charters for the next morning’s fishing excursions, according to the release. On Friday, April 17, chefs and VIP Package guests will fish for five hours, and whatever is caught that day will be used for the individual portion of the Main Event on Saturday evening, the release said. Friday evening features an Omni Amelia Island Dinner showcasing the culinary team’s creativity, according to the release.

On Saturday, April 18, the Sprouting Project Lunch showcases the culinary team’s commitment to seasonal ingredients in an outdoor space featuring an aquaponic greenhouse, organic gardens, a chicken coop and barrel room, the release said.

The Main Event on Saturday evening features chefs battling in both individual and group challenges, crafting gourmet dishes live for guests to sample and vote on, according to the release. The evening kicks off with the Individual Challenge, where each chef transforms their fresh catch into a signature dish at their personal cooking station, the release said. The competition continues with the Group Challenge, where teams of chefs must create an impromptu gourmet dish incorporating a secret ingredient revealed moments before the clock starts, according to the release.

Guests can choose from a variety of exclusive Fish to Fork 2026 packages, the release said. The VIP Package includes three nights of luxury oceanfront accommodations and exclusive access to all weekend events, starting at $3,963 per room for double occupancy, according to the release. The Weekend Package includes two nights of accommodations, Friday evening and Saturday dining experiences, and two tickets to the Main Event, starting at $2,452 per room for double occupancy, the release said. The Main Event Package includes one night of accommodations and two tickets to the Main Event on Saturday evening, starting at $1,042 per room for double occupancy, according to the release.
