Pirates, Warriors clash at Main Beach

The Pirates kept the Warriors winless on Tuesday. The Fernandina Beach High School beach volleyball team beat visiting West Nassau 5-0 to even its record to 3-3, while the Warriors dropped to 0-4 in their inaugural season.

The FBHS Pirates have chalked up wins over Clay (4-1) and West Nassau (5-0) in the teams’ first meeting of the season.

After the spring break hiatus, FBHS will host Episcopal (March 24) and Sandalwood (March 31) at 4 p.m. at Main Beach. The Pirates host the Yulee Hornets at 2 p.m. April 8.
