The Fernandina Beach High School lacrosse team was at home Monday against Tocoi Creek. The FBHS Pirates defeated their guests 14-3.
Senior Ben Adams scored four goals, juniors Jake Holbrook and Hunter Burns scored three apiece, and junior Luke Beckstrom scored twice. Senior Luke Taylor and Sophomore Cooper Perkins scored one goal each.
Senior Dominic Cortes had 10 saves in goal.
The Pirates dropped to 2-6 with a 13-6 loss to Creekside on Wednesday. They host Sandalwood at 7 p.m. Friday, March 6. FBHS closes out the season with six games on the road, starting with March 10 at Matanzas.
