The Nassau Sport Fishing Association is hitting the water – in kayaks. The club’s fall outing will take place at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 10 at PADL’s Simpson Creek launch.
The event is not a tournament, just a friendly group outing. Low tide is at 12:01 p.m.
Anyone who wants to kayak or learn to fish from one should bring it. Kayaks will be available for rent through PADL, which will also be offering instructions.
Reserve a spot, and or a kayak.
Participants are asked to bring a lawn chair. Burgers and hot dogs will be on the grill, and it’s BYOB on beverages.
Register at www.nsfafish.net. For information, contact President Dave Smith at 978-335-9705.
“These outings are a work in progress and any and all ideas or comments would be greatly appreciated,” Smith said.
