Amelia Island Dance Festival Returns September 4–7, 2025, with Four Days of Performances, Community Events, and Free Workshops

Amelia Island, FL — The Amelia Island Dance Festival is back, bringing together celebrated international performers, emerging talent, passionate youth ensembles, and a full day of free community workshops. From September 4–7, 2025, join us for four vibrant days of dance, culture, and connection, with events designed for dance lovers of all ages.

Guest Artists Performance

Amelia Community Theatre

September 4–6, 7:30 PM nightly

Each evening features an epic program, offering an unforgettable journey through global traditions, innovation, and storytelling. This year’s featured artists include:

New to the Festival:

  • Anubhava Dance Company – Award-winning Indian-American artists blending classical dance with deep emotion.
  • Jon Lehrer Dance Company – A dynamic fusion of jazz and modern dance.
  • Juana Calá – Flamenco artist with international acclaim.
  • Sofía Forero – Colombian choreographer blending culture and connection.
  • Gigi – Lyrical belly dancer blending ballet, jazz, and Caribbean influences.

  • Sarah Wildes Arnett – Aerial artist creating multidisciplinary stories in motion.

Celebrate the next generation of choreographers and local talent, featuring artists such as Noise Complaint, Island Aerial Danceworks, Sarava Dawson, and more.

Young Artists Series

A matinee performance showcasing talented middle and high school dancers, with performances from local studios including Royal Amelia Dance Academy, Florida Ballet Conservatory, LaVilla School of the Arts, and more.

Outdoor Celebration & Free Community Workshops

Central Park & Atlantic Rec Center

Saturday, September 6, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM

  • At Central Park: Youth performances, arts and wellness vendors, food trucks, and live music.
  • At Atlantic Rec Center: Free dance and movement workshops led by professional artists, including flamenco, hula, swing, Latin dance, yoga, and more—no experience required.
  • All events are free and open to the public.
